Hello,
I’m embarking on a new adventure, pioneering new ground. I’m writing a book. I have no idea how to begin or how to end, but I’m doing it. I figure there’s no better way to become the best in the world at something than to get help from the rest of the world. I’m also going to be writing a blog on a regular basis. I welcome constructive criticism. Please, anything you have to share with me is very much appreciated. Also hold me accountable, ask the question “What did you write today Stacey?”
The first thing I’d like to share is…
I’m writing a “How To” book.
It’ll be about me, my daily ritual and what I do every day to be Stacey Dash. It’ll be about what I’ve done in the past, the mistakes I’ve made and the lessons I’ve learned. The mistakes that I continue to make that drive me to moments of madness. I want to share what I’m going through in real-time to correct, reconcile and reinvent. You see I’m on a quest to live in love and joy come hell or high water. So, I’ll be writing about my future and how I’m moving forward in life using the knowledge I’ve gained from my past and wisdom I’m finding now. Also, I want to teach women and girls how to take care of themselves…and most importantly, how to love themselves. I believe that… is truly what is most important in life. In the process of writing, I’m hopeful that while I’m teaching you I’ll also be teaching myself…
Sincerely,
Stacey Dash

Stacey Dash I think what you are ding is great and well timed. This generation is suffering a little, and girls need a role model to look up to, and no one fits the roll better than you; an educated , beautiful and class woman. I am nothing more than a 17 year old guy ; that not only fell in love with your beauty and on-air personality but also fell in love with the genuinely nice person you are. So good luck on your book , and am 100% behind you wit support!

Stacy,
It will be a delight to read your perspective on how women should take care of themselves. You have been revered for quiet some time and alleged to have found the fountain of youth. In this time of reality tv we are in it is very necessary to have healthy images and depictions of women, particularly women of color represented at their finest selves. If you don’t mind I will look to your blog and book when I begin my capstone project for my masters program. I am a graduate student at NYU majoring in public relations and corporate communications. I have taken a keen interest in the current portrayal of women in media and I look forward to reading what you have to offer. Being that I’m the first to reply and like the post- I hope that makes me the favorite blog supporter. Well for now that’s all I have to say until your next post… {twitter @RashidahRey}

I’ll follow this 🙂
Mostly because you have the most beautiful smile in the world and I hope for pics along with those words. Also because you always seemed to have some kind of depth to you and I’ll be interested to see what you’d write. Bottomline though: you’re sexy as hell and I’ve loved your smile and your cute nose and your body since the 90’s. I hope that’s not creepy it just has to be said. / Stefan from Sweden

Considering how genuine you are, you won’t have any trouble finding material for your book. Your daily life will give you all the inspiration you’ll need. Treat your book like a diary, just change the names to protect the innocent. ; ) Good luck.

I don’t normally read celebrity books but yours would be the first. I first saw you in Mo Money and stopped watching since then. You’re one of the very very few actresses who can actually act and comes across as the person your playing. I hope to see you more and look forward to your daily submissions…regards Zhai

I wish you the best of luck with the new project… I took on that challenge not as a book, but my first screen play… Now seven years later I’m down to my final three scenes. It might have taken a while but I stressed to only write when I felt like it and not do it as a must finish by a certain time frame approach. Good luck and take your time… Things that come from the heart never come out fast, because of those lasting memories it will take some time to put on paper. K

Stacy I have been in love with you since I was 7 years old and watched you as Dion in Clueless, you continue to be the first person I think about when asked who the my favorite actress is. You also gave me the confidence to believe an ethnic girl can achieve the same level of success a caucasian woman could. Ive always been told I resemble you and I always get the hugest cool-aid smile when somebody says it, I will stay tuned to your blogs and eagerly await the release of your book!

And Also, loving (as a girl at least, I’m only 20) yourself is such a big deal…I mean if someone as real as you can come along and relate to me (who has made a lot of mistakes as well), you don’t know how much of a friend and life-saver you can be to millions of ladies out there just through words. So good luck! I’ll definitely be reading it!

Hi Stacey
I have often wondered how I came out successful, inspired and driven from a completely dysfunctional unhealthy environment. And I have pondered how to inspire others on achieving this. It was never an easy road for me, but even as I stumbled, I continued to get back up again and never give up. How do you inspire this?
I sincerely hope you figure this out, especially for young women. We do not have to be a product of our environment.
Your story touched base with me and I am happy you are using your life and inspiration to talk with others. I have attended career days at high schools in order to encourage kids on all they can do with their lives! I hope to learn from you all I can do to inspire our youth today. Thank you for your inspiration!
